My interest in health began as a child and has never left me! Supporting your health is fundamental to living your best life and is not just about diet and exercise. To really live well you need to know yourself deeply so you can adapt to the changing rhythms of your life.
When I was 9 I watched my grandmother die of cancer and became highly motivated to care for my own health. I became aware of what I was eating and adapted it to reduce risk of ill health. Around the same time I also began to see life in what I consider more spiritual terms. I began contemplating the meaning of life and what the point of it all was.
I was a sensitive and intuitive child with a strong conscience and moral compass even as a kid, and I believe my upbringing together with having these qualities has contributed to me developing a deeply compassionate nature.
I’ve lived a non-conventional and inner-guided kind of life. I travelled extensively from the age of 18 and lived overseas for a decade and half. During this time I was focused on learning about health and spirituality and pursued these interests alongside whatever else I was doing.
I was deeply engaged in meditation, dreamwork, inner reflection, mindfulness, and studying Buddhist and other spiritual practices. In these years I had many developments in my consciousness including heightened intuitive senses and knowing things I couldn’t possibly have known, becoming more psychically attuned in my dreams and having experiences of seeing, feeling and hearing energy in and around me.
When I finally returned to Australia I began studying naturopathy and then spent the next 9 years immersed in studying and raising my 2 sons. The impact of motherhood, studying, working and a lack of social life took its toll and the stress, strain and exhaustion of it all caused crisis to hit.
The beautiful thing about crisis is that it can bring your life into sharper focus (I think we all experienced this during the pandemic). It’s a moment of power (even though it doesn’t feel like one) because it can precipitate transformation and change where change is needed. For me, the intense stress of my life caused me to find my spiritual core once again and from there I began to rebuild myself - the stress eased, my health complaints began to resolve, and I found balance in life once again.
I’ve lived a rich and adventurous life, and I bring a wealth of life experience to my consultations with patients. I know what it feels like and what it means to be healthy. I know the challenges of domestic life and parenting, and trying to maintain a sense of self amongst it all. I understand the difficulties and benefits of enduring through hard times, and I know how to find joy during dark and difficult times.
I understand life through a very practical lens as well as through a big picture, symbolic, intuitive, psychic and spiritual one. And all of this I bring to my work and consultations.

My qualifications:
I have a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy and I also regularly engage in continued professional development and private mentoring in order to refine, develop and maintain my skillset.
I am a member of the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) which has a code of conduct and rules and guidelines around safe practice of naturopathy and herbalism in Australia.
my clinical approach
My approach to health is all about simplicity and balance.
I search for the root cause and drivers of your illness or health complaint and then find the simplest and most effective way to restore balance.
I try to be as cost effective as possible and always work within my patients’ budgets. I offer discounts for students and healthcare card holders. Please let me know if you are in financial hardship and require naturopathic care.
I work closely with my patients to develop treatment plans and strategies that they feel they can implement.
I utilise the science of modern, evidence-based medicine with traditional concepts of naturopathy to help people on their health journey
